Awesome. I received an email from one of our connectional friends over at Wheatland Salem UMC in response to the taking back Advent and Christmas concept. Apparently, on December 14th they are hoping to collect $80,000 to build a community center in Tanzania.
My prayers are with them, and I pray for a day when our congregation would do the same.
